Commitment to Excellence: International Office UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Achieves Progress in 2025 Internal Quality Audit
Cirebon, September 25, 2025 — The International Office and Partnership of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon conducted the 2025 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) at the International Office Room, 5th Floor of the Cyber Building. The event was attended by Lala Bumela, Ph.D., Director of the International Office and Partnership, Ivo Yanuar Dinasta, S.S., M.Appling., Secretary of the International Office, and Gina Amalia Sholihah, S.Sos., staff member of the International Office and the Global Engagement Team. The audit was carried out by Varidlo Fuad, M.Pd. and Nizar Ibnus, M.Pd., who served as auditors for this session.
The 2025 IQA serves as a tangible commitment of the International Office to consistently improve the quality of its services and management. Through this activity, programs and activities are comprehensively evaluated to identify achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. This initiative aligns with the role of the International Office as the driving force of the university’s internationalization agenda.
In his remarks, Director Lala Bumela, Ph.D., emphasized the importance of the audit as a moment of reflection. He explained that the results would serve as the foundation for formulating strategic steps for future program sustainability. His statement underscores the International Office’s dedication to strengthening global networks and improving the quality of international services at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati.
The presence of auditors Varidlo Fuad, M.Pd. and Nizar Ibnus, M.Pd. added further credibility to the audit process. Both provided a thorough review of program implementation, performance management, and quality standards at the International Office. Their feedback is expected to contribute significantly to the continuous development of the institution.
One of the significant achievements highlighted in this year’s AMI was the increase in the office’s audit score. The International Office recorded 334.2 points in 2025, a notable improvement from 289.5 points in 2024. This achievement demonstrates real progress in quality assurance and consistent performance management.
With this progress, the International Office strengthens its position as a strategic unit that actively supports the university’s internationalization efforts. Continuous evaluation and reflection will enable the formulation of new strategies to expand international collaborations and generate a meaningful impact for the academic community. The 2025 AMI thus serves as an important milestone in UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati’s journey toward becoming a globally recognized university.
