SYEKH NURJATI GLOBAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP 2025

The “Syekh Nurjati Global Excellence Scholarship” (SN-GES) is a bachelor’s degree scholarship program designed to support outstanding students worldwide in pursuing higher education at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This scholarship fosters cultural and academic diversity while strengthening the university's position as a hub for international education within the ASEAN region and beyond. It offers financial assistance and various facilities to enable recipients to focus on academic achievements, engage in extracurricular activities, and develop holistically in an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.

The program aims to create opportunities for cross-cultural exchange and collaboration, enriching the campus with diverse perspectives and experiences. It also helps recipients build a global professional network, preparing them to become open-minded and competitive leaders capable of addressing complex global challenges. By welcoming students from ASEAN countries, Islamic nations, developing regions, and advanced economies, this scholarship embodies a commitment to inclusivity and international cooperation.

International bachelor’s degree applicants for the Syekh Nurjati Global Excellence Scholarship must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a maximum of 23 years old.
  • Submit a comprehensive curriculum vitae.
  • Possess a Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
  • Provide the following documents:
  1. Completed online application form.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent certificate and academic transcript.
  3. Valid passport.
  4. Recent colored photograph (4x6 size, red background).
  5. Motivation letter.
  6. Recommendation letter from the nearest Indonesian Representative Office (Embassy or Consulate).
  7. Proof of English proficiency (official TOEFL ITP certificate with a minimum score of 450) or Arabic proficiency certificate.
  8. Evidence of expertise in academics, arts, or sports, such as academic transcripts, relevant achievements, art portfolios, or sports certificates.
  9. Recommendation letter from the applicant’s educational institution.
  10. Statement of commitment to remain unmarried during the scholarship period.
  11. Affidavit of commitment to completing studies on time (stamped).
  12. Proof of non-involvement in prohibited organizations, verified through police clearance or a letter from the applicant’s home country embassy.
