Cyber and Information Ethics: Director of the International Office Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D, Leads as Seminar Moderator

Cirebon, July 17, 2025 — The International Office (IO) of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC) marked an important step in its global engagement through the participation of its Director, Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D, as moderator in the international seminar titled “Cyber and Information Ethics: Navigating the Landscapes of Cyber Ethics and Information Strategies, and Policies in the Realm of Digital Libraries.” The event, held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the 8th-floor Auditorium of the Siber Building, brought togethis international and national speakers, including Amir Hussain Md Ishak (Chief Librarian of Asia e University Malaysia), Dr. Labibah (President of the Special Library Association (SLA) Asian Community), and Prof. Didin Nurul Rosyidin (Lecturer at UIN SSC).


Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D’s appointment as moderator was not without strong reason. With his academic background in international relations and an impressive record of global collaboration, he is widely recognized for his broad perspective and excellent communication skills.
