Global Knowledge in Action: Lala Bumela Guides Get Team Digital to Manage Encyclopedia, Anthropology, and Philosophy Content for AsiaCALL 2025 Access
Cirebon, September, 22nd 2025 — Global knowledge has increasingly been digitized across social media and online platforms, creating opportunities for academic institutions to reach wider audiences. For the 22nd AsiaCALL Conference, which will be held at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, meticulous preparation is required, particularly in the creation and management of digital content. Following collaboration with PIPD (Pusat Inovasi Pembelajaran Digital), Lala Bumela provided detailed guidance to the International Office’s Global Engagement Team (GET) Digital Content, consisting of Indra Maulana Arfan Ajiz, Bustanul Arifin, and Keysha Aulia Febrina. He outlined the plan and concept for AsiaCALL content, emphasizing that all materials should be grounded in local wisdom and integrated with artificial intelligence, elaborated alongside diverse philosophical frameworks. “Every piece of content we produce must have a philosophical foundation and represent the academic and cultural identity of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon,” said Lala Bumela.
Indra Maulana Arfan Ajiz, a member of GET Digital Content, explained that the team’s role involves curating and structuring digital materials to ensure accessibility and clarity for an international audience. “Our task is to bridge tradition and modernity by combining local wisdom with AI-driven enhancements, ensuring that each content module is both educational and engaging,” said Indra. He added that the team carefully reviews each article, visual, and multimedia element to maintain coherence with the overarching themes of encyclopedia, anthropology, and philosophy.
Lala Bumela highlighted that the content creation process is not merely technical but strategic. He said that every step, from research and digitization to editing and distribution, is designed to reflect the university’s mission of blending traditional knowledge with contemporary academic practices. “By carefully integrating philosophical principles and disciplinary knowledge, we ensure that UIN SSC’s digital content for AsiaCALL 2025 stands out as both rigorous and innovative,” he noted.
Bustanul Arifin, another GET Digital Content member, discussed the challenges and opportunities in managing multilingual content for AsiaCALL participants. “We aim to make all materials universally understandable while preserving the unique local and philosophical perspectives embedded in each piece,” he said. He emphasized that collaboration among team members, constant review, and adaptation are essential to produce content that meets both international standards and UIN SSC’s vision of academic excellence.
The team also integrates multimedia elements such as interactive visuals, videos, and AI-based search features to enhance user experience and engagement. By combining technical expertise with deep understanding of local wisdom and philosophy, the GET Digital Content team aims to create a comprehensive digital repository that will not only serve AsiaCALL 2025 participants but also provide long-term educational resources accessible worldwide. The process fosters collaboration between technology specialists and academic experts, ensuring that the digital materials are accurate, culturally grounded, and pedagogically effective.
In conclusion, Lala Bumela expressed confidence in the team’s ability to deliver high-quality content that reflects the mission and values of UIN SSC. “With the dedication of GET Digital Content and the guidance of PIPD, we are creating a digital ecosystem that connects local wisdom, philosophical depth, and cutting-edge technology for global academic access,” he said. He further emphasized that this initiative exemplifies UIN SSC’s commitment to becoming a leading cyber university that bridges tradition, knowledge, and international collaboration.
