Cirebon, September 9, 2025 –The International Office of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon held a meaningful and well-coordinated banking orientation session in partnership with Bank Syariah Indonesia, attended by international students from Thailand, the Philippines, and Yemen who have recently arrived as recipients of the Syekh Nurjati Global Excellence Scholarship for 2025. The session, conducted in the International Office at New Cyber Building, marked the beginning of the process for scholars to open their personal bank accounts and gain full access to their monthly stipends and financial support. This initiative reflects UINSSC’s deep commitment to ensuring that global students feel secure, supported, and empowered from the very start of their academic journey. Under the leadership of Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., the IO continues to deliver services that blend practical efficiency with heartfelt hospitality.
BSI representatives guided the students through a clear, step-by-step process for opening their accounts, designed specifically for international students who have just settled in Indonesia. Required documents include a valid passport, official scholarship award letter, university acceptance letter, and identification of a local guarantor appointed by UINSSC. A dedicated BSI relationship officer will remain available on campus to assist with questions, while scholars will also receive hands-on guidance in using mobile banking, ATMs, and secure transaction methods.
