International Office UINSSC Holds Strategic Meeting Ahead of August Agendas
On Tuesday, 12 August 2025, the International Office of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Cirebon held an important coordination meeting to prepare for several upcoming agendas. Led by Director of the International Office, Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., the meeting was attended by staff members and administrative coordinators. Discussions focused on three main points: preparations for the Internal Quality Audit (AMI), the finalization of AsiaCALL’s RAB and TOR, and the welcoming of guests from the International Office of UIN Bandung. The atmosphere was productive yet collaborative, with each participant actively contributing updates and suggestions. “We have a very tight schedule this month, so teamwork and time management are crucial,” Dr. Lala emphasized at the start of the meeting.
The meeting began with detailed discussions on the Internal Quality Audit (AMI), scheduled to take place from 19 August to 31 September 2025. The documentation phase will run from 19 August until 4 September 2025, requiring every unit to submit all necessary reports and evidence on time. The International Office team reviewed each required document, ensuring they met the established indicators and standards. Participants agreed that early preparation would be the best way to avoid last-minute issues. This proactive approach reflects the office’s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all its operations.
Attention then turned to the AsiaCALL agenda, which will require a well-prepared Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) and Terms of Reference (TOR). The deadline for finalizing these documents is set before the start of AMI to prevent overlapping workloads. Staff members responsible for these files were reminded to check every detail for accuracy and completeness. The team also agreed to hold a quick review session before submission to ensure everything aligns with event requirements. By securing these preparations early, the International Office aims to support the success of AsiaCALL without compromising the audit schedule.
Another key topic was the upcoming visit from the International Office of UIN Bandung, scheduled for Thursday, 14 August 2025. The meeting outlined plans for a warm reception, including a complete rundown of the day’s activities. Preparations will include a formal presentation of UINSSC’s International Office profile, as well as a guided discussion to explore opportunities for future collaboration. The team also discussed arrangements for protocol officers, documentation teams, and refreshments for the visiting delegation. These details are intended to ensure that the guests feel welcomed and valued.
To keep preparations on track, the team agreed on clear deadlines for each task and assigned responsibilities accordingly. For the UIN Bandung visit, arrangements will be completed ahead of the event to allow time for any necessary adjustments. The Director emphasized the importance of maintaining active coordination and sharing timely updates among team members to ensure steady progress. Such collaborative efforts are essential when managing multiple major events in close succession. With a structured plan and a strong sense of teamwork, the International Office is confident each agenda will be carried out smoothly and professionally.
Throughout the meeting, the spirit of collaboration was evident. Team members not only discussed tasks but also offered solutions to potential challenges, such as balancing AMI document preparation with AsiaCALL planning. “If we work smart and keep each other updated, we can pull this off successfully,” one staff member encouraged during the discussion. The shared sense of responsibility and mutual support has become a hallmark of how the International Office operates. This mindset enables the team to consistently deliver results even under pressure.
The meeting concluded with a recap of action items, clear task assignments, and reminders of upcoming deadlines. With three significant agendas set for August, the International Office of UINSSC, under the leadership of Director Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., is moving forward with determination and strategic planning. Every detail, from document checks to hospitality arrangements, is being managed with care to ensure smooth execution. As Dr. Lala stated in closing, “Our goal is not just to meet the requirements but to make each event meaningful and impactful.” With that spirit, the office is ready to welcome an intense but exciting month ahead.
