Quality Excellence: International Office of UIN SSC Achieves Outstanding Growth in AMI 2025
Cirebon, October 7th, 2025 — Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., Director of the International Office (IO) at Universitas Islam Negeri Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC), proudly announced a remarkable improvement in the Internal Quality Audit or Audit Mutu Internal (AMI) 2025. The audit, conducted on September 25 under the supervision of auditors Varidlo Fuad, M.Pd., and Nizar Ibnus, M.Pd., evaluated several aspects of the office’s performance, including administration, documentation, and program implementation. Following the document completion phase, which lasted approximately one week, the International Office’s score rose from 334 to 365.8, marking a significant improvement. “This result reflects our continuous dedication to improving our management and overall performance,” Lala Bumela stated.
The AMI process this year was carried out in several stages, beginning with document verification and continuing with a detailed assessment of operational standards. Each component—from planning and reporting to international partnership management—was thoroughly reviewed to ensure compliance with institutional quality indicators. This comprehensive approach allowed the auditors to gain a clear overview of the International Office’s performance and identify specific areas for improvement..
The Global Engagement Team (GET) also worked intensively during the one-week completion period to provide all required supporting documents, demonstrating their strong commitment to continuous improvement and their proactive approach in addressing the auditors’ feedback. Their commitment and responsiveness during the process became key factors in achieving this success. “Our team worked closely to ensure every aspect met the university’s quality standards,” Lala Bumela noted.
The impressive score of 365.8 also represents a steep rise compared to the first year participating in the AMI. In the previous year, the International Office received a total score of 289.5, meaning this year’s performance marks an increase of more than 76 points within just two years. This progress demonstrates the International Office’s consistent efforts to enhance its quality management and align with the university’s internationalization vision.
The auditors praised the team for their professionalism and collaboration throughout the process. They highlighted clear improvements in strategic planning, documentation, and administrative performance, acknowledging the team’s dedication to meeting institutional standards. Their evaluation also emphasized that the office’s adaptive and transparent approach has become a strong foundation for sustaining future quality initiatives.
