Regular Workshop of GET Digital Content Creation Team
Cirebon, June 2, 2025 -- The Global Engagement Team (GET) participated in the regular workshop of the IO Digital Content Creation Team. Held at the International Office and Partnership room on the 5th floor of Gedung Siber, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, the session provided valuable insights into the structure, function, and future direction of the International Office (IO). The workshop was led by Farah Syifa Mutiara Riyadi, one of the team members actively involved in IO’s administration.
The session opened with a briefing on the current internship program at the International Office. Farah shared how student interns have been contributing meaningfully to the team’s daily operations and long-term initiatives. These students, under the guidance of IO mentors, support various divisions and gain real-world experience in international collaboration and digital communication. Their presence also adds a dynamic and youthful spirit to the IO environment.
Farah then introduced the organizational structure of the International Office, highlighting its four main divisions: Administrations, Digital, Web Administrator, and Social Media. Each division plays a crucial role in maintaining IO's performance and visibility both internally and externally. "Understanding the structure helps us know where we can contribute best," said one GET participant during the discussion. The segmentation ensures that each aspect of international engagement—from logistics to online presence—is handled professionally and efficiently.
A key highlight of the workshop was the discussion around content planning, which was inspired by insights from Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D. According to Farah, Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D. emphasized the importance of having a clear and consistent content planner in any international office setup. A content planner, she explained, allows the team to map out, schedule, and optimize content production in a manageable and impactful way. This guidance was particularly relevant for the Digital and Social Media divisions.
Farah reinforced Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D.’s view by reminding the team that content planning is not just about posting frequently, but also about telling meaningful stories over time. “With the right plan, we’re not just updating social media—we’re building our identity,” she said. This aligns with IO’s long-term mission to increase global engagement and present UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati as an active player in the international academic community.
Throughout the session, participants had the opportunity to reflect on how their individual roles can support IO’s collective goals. They also explored ways to improve internal coordination and align their content creation with IO’s broader vision. The open and collaborative atmosphere encouraged everyone to contribute ideas and perspectives.
The workshop concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among the GET members. It wasn’t just about managing digital content—it was about understanding how every task, no matter how small, contributes to IO’s impact on a global scale. As the International Office continues to grow and adapt, sessions like this ensure that the team moves forward with clarity, confidence, and creativity.
