Rehearsal of International Office Workshop: Interns Ready to Confidently Create Digital Content
Cirebon, July 21, 2025 — As part of the final preparations for the upcoming workshop “Capacity Building for Digital Content Creators: Empowering Interns at the International Office to Create Meaningful and Impactful Content for a Globally Connected Audience,” the International Office and Partnership of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UINSSC) held an intensive rehearsal session to ensure everything is ready for the big day. Taking place from 09.00 to 12.30 WIB at the International Office, 5th Floor of the Cyber Building, the rehearsal brought together all members of the Global Engagement Team (GET), a group of dedicated interns supporting the university’s global communication efforts.
The rehearsal began with opening remarks from Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., Director of the International Office, who reminded participants of the workshop’s purpose: to empower interns with the skills and confidence to produce meaningful and strategic digital content. He emphasized that the success of the event would depend not only on the invited speakers but also on the preparation, enthusiasm, and teamwork of the entire crew. The rehearsal, he noted, is not just about checking logistics but also about cultivating confidence and aligning as a team.
Throughout the session, the interns walked through the full event sequence from the opening to the closing, rehearsing transitions, content delivery, and audience interaction. Meanwhile, the technical team ensured all equipment, from microphones and internet connection to room arrangements, was functioning smoothly. Every detail was tested and adjusted to create a seamless and professional atmosphere for tomorrow’s workshop.
This workshop is designed to provide hands-on training in both the creative and strategic aspects of digital content creation. Two expert speakers will lead the sessions. The first, Syarifudin, S.S., is a seasoned writing practitioner who will guide participants in crafting powerful social media content, from engaging captions and storytelling techniques to persuasive calls to action and an effective tone of voice.
The second session will feature Ir. Intan Pusvitasari, ST, M.Si., an active content creator known for her strong presence on social media. She will share proven strategies for boosting engagement, optimizing platform features like polls and reels, and building loyal online communities. Her session will focus on making content not only visually appealing but also relevant and valuable for target audiences.
Today’s rehearsal highlighted the interns’ growing confidence and readiness not only technically but also mentally to represent the university through compelling digital storytelling. It was also a valuable moment to refine the event flow, clarify roles, and strengthen coordination. More than just preparation, the rehearsal offered a glimpse into the creative potential the interns are ready to unleash.
With the workshop set to take place tomorrow, the entire team is optimistic that it will be a meaningful and inspiring experience, one that equips students with real-world skills and deepens their understanding of strategic communication in the digital age.
