Cirebon, August 6, 2025 – The International Office of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, led by the Director, Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., and the Secretary, Ivo Dinasta Yanuar, M.A., convened a crucial strategic meeting with Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ayus Ahmad Yusuf, M.Si., and representatives from Global Katalyst e.V. The meeting focused on advancing the implementation of their groundbreaking Double Track program to Germany, which officially launched on August 3, 2025. This collaborative initiative combines German Ausbildung with concurrent university studies at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, marking a historic milestone in Indonesian higher education and representing a key component of the institution's Syekh Nurjati Global Employability Framework.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss critical operational aspects following the successful launch of the Double Track program. Representatives from Global Katalyst e.V., led by Ruwanti Wulandari, M.Pd.I., joined university leadership to address essential implementation details that will ensure the program's success. The discussions centered on contractual arrangements for Global Katalyst participants, program scheduling, and financial arrangements that will support students throughout their dual educational journey. This follow-up meeting demonstrates the commitment of both institutions to translate their Memorandum of Understanding, signed on August 8, 2024, into practical, well-structured educational opportunities.

One of the key topics addressed during the meeting was the comprehensive support system that Global Katalyst will provide to participating students. The organization committed to arranging accommodation for students during their stay in Germany, covering both rental costs and essential living expenses. This support includes advance funding or loans from Global Katalyst to ensure students can focus on their studies and training without financial stress. The financial arrangement reflects Global Katalyst's understanding of the challenges students face when studying abroad and their commitment to making international education accessible to Indonesian youth.

Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D. emphasized the importance of these operational details in ensuring student success within the broader context of the Syekh Nurjati Global Employability Framework. "The success of our Double Track program depends not just on the quality of education but also on the comprehensive support system we provide," he stated. The Director highlighted that proper accommodation and financial support are fundamental to student well-being and academic performance, noting that these elements are integral components of the university's revolutionary approach to preparing globally competitive graduates. His remarks underscored the International Office's commitment to creating an environment where students can thrive both academically and personally during their international educational experience.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ayus Ahmad Yusuf, M.Si., expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the partnership. "This collaboration with Global Katalyst represents our commitment to providing students with world-class educational opportunities that prepare them for global competition," he noted. The Vice Rector emphasized that the detailed planning and support structures discussed in the meeting reflect the university's dedication to student success and international excellence.

The meeting concluded with a clear roadmap for program implementation, including finalized contracts, detailed scheduling, and confirmed financial arrangements, all structured to support the objectives of the Syekh Nurjati Global Employability Framework. The agreement ensures that students participating in the Double Track program will receive comprehensive support from both UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon and Global Katalyst e.V., creating a model that can be replicated across other institutional programs. This partnership model sets a new standard for international educational collaborations in Indonesia, demonstrating how universities and non-profit organizations can work together to create meaningful opportunities for student development. The successful resolution of these operational details paves the way for the first cohort of students to embark on their transformative educational journey in Germany, carrying with them the hopes and aspirations of their institution and the broader Indonesian educational community while embodying the principles of global employability that define UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon's educational philosophy.
