Cirebon, November, 16th 2025 — The Global Engagement Team (GET) of the International Office of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, led by Lala Bumela, Ph.D., Director of the International Office, expressed overwhelming enthusiasm and deep appreciation after gaining valuable knowledge and academic enlightenment from world-leading scholars at the 22nd AsiaCALL International Conference 2025. The conference welcomed an extraordinary lineup of renowned experts, including Prof. Dr. Andrew Lian, Ph.D. (President of AsiaCALL/Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand/ University of Canberra, Australia – Online); Ania Lian, Ph.D. (Vice President of AsiaCALL / Charles Darwin University, Australia); Prof. Dr. Jeremy White (Vice President for International Relations of AsiaCALL/Ritsumeikan University, Japan); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Vu Phi Ho, Ph.D. (Vice President for Administrative Affairs and Publication of AsiaCALL/Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam); Assoc. Prof. Hassan Khosravi, Ph.D. (The University of Queensland, Australia); Prof. Shameem Rafik-Galea, Ph.D. (SEGi University, Malaysia); and many distinguished presenters and guests from Japan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Netherlands, the Philippines, as well as lecturers and hundreds of English Education students of UINSSC. It became a proud moment of inspiration when GET members attentively listened to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Vu Phi Ho, Ph.D., who delivered a powerful keynote entitled “Between Innovation and Integrity: Postgraduate Students’ Use of AI Tools in Academic Writing.” “We felt incredibly honored and excited to learn from global experts. This conference has broadened our perspectives and strengthened our confidence,” said Bilqis Syifa Shoraya, representing the voice of GET.
