UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Makes History by Preparing the First-Ever German Language Classroom Across All PTKIN in Indonesia, as Feasibility Survey Team Ensures World-Class Facilities for a Global Student Future

Cirebon, July 14, 2025 — In a momentous leap toward international academic excellence, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon has embarked on a groundbreaking initiative to establish the very first German language learning program at Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) across Indonesia. A dedicated team representing key units of the university recently conducted a thorough feasibility survey for the upcoming German language classroom. Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., Director of International Office, alongside Zaenal Mutaqin, M.I.Kom., the Secretary of UPT Pusat Bahasa, and Januar Feri, S.T., collaborated to assess the readiness of the newly built cyber building, specifically on the fourth floor where the classroom will be located. The survey focused on evaluating infrastructure, spatial design, technological support, and overall suitability of the space for immersive language learning. Their visit symbolizes the collective effort and meticulous planning behind this pioneering educational venture. Each aspect of the assessment was carried out with precision to ensure the classroom meets high academic standards and provides a conducive environment for students.
