UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Reviews International Cyber Scholarship 2026 Results, Records 858 Applicants
CIREBON (Gita Dwi Kusnandar) – Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon held a coordination meeting with faculty deans to review the results of the International Cyber Scholarship 2026 admissions. During the meeting, the university reported a total of 858 international applicants who applied to various study programs for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
The meeting, organized by the International Office, focused on reviewing the distribution of applicants across faculties, evaluating the upcoming selection process, and discussing strategic initiatives to further strengthen the university’s internationalization through the admission of international students.

According to Ivo Dinasta Yanuar, S.S., M.AppLing., the high number of applicants reflects the growing international recognition of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.
“This achievement reflects the increasing confidence of international students in UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon as a destination for higher education. Through this coordination meeting, we are also ensuring that every stage of the admission process is conducted professionally, transparently, and in accordance with international standards,” said Ivo.
Based on the admissions recap, the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training attracted the highest number of applicants with 275, followed by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business with 270 applicants. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Sharia recorded 213 applicants, the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Literature received 100 applicants, and the Faculty of Da’wah and Islamic Communication attracted 70 applicants.

At the study program level, Informatics was the most popular program within the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, receiving 146 applications, while Biotechnology attracted 205 applicants in the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business. In the Faculty of Sharia, the Islamic Family Law (Ahwal Al-Shakhsiyyah) program received 189 applicants, whereas Islamic Theology and Philosophy became the most sought-after program in the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Literature with 59 applicants.
In addition to reviewing the admission results, the meeting also discussed the next stages of the selection process, document verification procedures, and each faculty’s readiness to welcome successful international applicants. Faculty deans also shared recommendations on strengthening academic services and student support to ensure international students can successfully adapt to academic life at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.
Through the International Cyber Scholarship 2026, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon aims to increase international student mobility, expand cross-border academic collaboration, and further strengthen its position as a World-Class Cyber University.
