UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Sets Its Sights on Strategic Partnership with the University of Dundee, United Kingdom
Cirebon, May 21, 2025 — UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, through its International Office and Partnership, is taking a significant step forward by initiating talks for a potential partnership with the University of Dundee, United Kingdom. This intention emerged following UIN SSC’s active participation in the open session hosted by the University of Dundee on May 21, 2025, which introduced postgraduate programs in accounting and finance. Seeing shared values in academic development and international collaboration, UIN SSC welcomes the opportunity to establish a formal institutional relationship with the distinguished UK university.
The Director of the International Office and Partnership, Mr. Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., expressed optimism about the potential collaboration. “The University of Dundee has a strong international reputation, and we see great potential for academic, research, and exchange collaborations,” he said. He also stated that the International Office is currently preparing to move forward with a more detailed discussion to shape a mutually beneficial agreement.
The proposed partnership may include student and staff exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and opportunities for UIN SSC’s lecturers and alumni to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Dundee. These initiatives are expected to enhance UIN SSC’s academic capacity while aligning with its vision to become a globally recognized digital university.
