UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Strengthens Global Partnerships through International Seminar 2026
CIREBON (Defi Fitriyani) – Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon held the International Seminar 2026, titled Future-Ready Cyber Universities: Advancing Digital Infrastructure, Institutional Management, and Global Academic Collaboration, at the Digital Library Cyber Building on Monday (June 8, 2026). Organized by the International Office, the seminar focused on strengthening digital infrastructure, enhancing higher education governance, and fostering global academic collaboration as key strategies for addressing the challenges of higher education in the era of digital transformation.
The seminar featured Daniel Dobrev, Head of the Trade and Economic Office at the Embassy of Bulgaria in Jakarta, Indonesia, as the keynote speaker. The event brought together academics, practitioners, students, and international partners to discuss the future development of cyber universities in the digital era.
According to Ivo Dinasta Yanuar, S.S., M.AppLing., the International Seminar 2026 reflects UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon’s commitment to expanding its global partnerships while strengthening academic collaboration with institutions and organizations worldwide.
“International Seminar 2026 serves as a collaborative platform that brings together academics, practitioners, and international partners to exchange ideas and establish sustainable partnerships. We hope this forum will generate meaningful collaborations that contribute to the advancement of education, research, and innovation on a global scale,” said Ivo.
As part of the seminar, the Tadris Mathematics Study Program showcased an innovative product developed through technology-based learning and innovation. The presentation highlighted the academic community’s contribution to creating educational innovations that support digital transformation while demonstrating the integration of academic excellence and technological advancement.
Meanwhile, Daniel Dobrev emphasized that digitalization has become one of the fundamental pillars of modern higher education. According to him, international collaboration plays a crucial role in driving innovation, improving the quality of education, and creating mutually beneficial partnerships among countries.
The seminar addressed three major themes: strengthening digital infrastructure, developing adaptive institutional management, and promoting global academic collaboration. These themes were identified as essential elements in building future-ready universities capable of responding to rapid technological developments and the evolving needs of the global community.
In addition to members of the UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon academic community, the seminar was attended by participants from various higher education institutions and international partners.
